If I could, I would give Dr. Call 10 stars! I have struggled with PMDD my entire life, and throughout my 20s and early 30s, doctors told me that antidepressants and birth control were the only ways to manage my symptoms. At 33, after being on birth control for 15 years, I decided to come off it. My PMDD symptoms worsened, leading to major mental health challenges, and despite my pleas, doctors continued to push more prescription drugs without exploring the hormonal root of my issues.
